(Mon 29 Jun 09) More than a month before it goes on sale in the UK, the Toyota Prius has already been named WhatGreenCar Car of the Year 2009.
Eight judges unanimously voted the Prius as their favourite from the ten-car shortlist. Three further models were highly commended - the Ford Fiesta ECOnetic, the Honda Insight and the BMW 318d saloon, which is in fact looking less impressive now that BMW has announced the even greener 316d saloon. |
