(Mon 29 Jun 09) The Peugeot 207 will go on sale in revised from in August, a little over three years after it was introduced to the UK.
The most obvious change is that the distinctive front-end look has been softened considerably, and there is also increased use of chrome and body-coloured exterior trim. New light clusters consisting of panels of LEDs will be used on the hatchback and CC, and all models will get new interior trim and instruments. Without giving away many details for the moment, Peugeot is also promising "very low fuel consumption" and CO2 levels as low as 99g/km, thanks to attention that has been paid to aerodynamics, engine operation and rolling resistance. There will also be higher levels of standard equipment, including an in-car entertainment system with a USB port and Bluetooth connectivity, one-touch indicators for lane changes on dual-carriageways and motorways, and remote-controlled window closure on the hatchback and SW. More details, including pricing, will be released in July. Peugeot Gallery Previous: Green Award For Toyota Prius Next: Aston Martin City Car Concept |
