(Mon 02 Mar 09) Just over a month after Citroen offered the same thing on the almost identical Berlingo, Peugeot has made a seven-seat option available for the Partner Tepee compact MPV.
When fitted with the Seven Seat pack, the Partner has a central row of three seats and a third row of two, all of which can be folded or removed altogether. Access to row three is by folding down a side seat on row two, or alternatively by clambering in through the tailgate. The central seats have been raised by 42mm and moved forward by 90mm compared with those in the standard car to improve third-row passenger room, and three underfloor storage spaces have been created in the extreme rear. Luggage capacity is less than in the five-seat model at 100 litres with all seats in place, 470 litres when they are folded and 650 litres when they are removed altogether.
Specifying the extra seats does mean that you have to do without the multipurpose Zenith roof and interior roof rack because there is no longer any room for them. The Pack costs £800 for S models and £570 for the Outdoor, the reason for the difference being that it includes side airbags which are already fitted as standard to the Outdoor. |
