(Tue 19 May 09) The new version of the Corsa ecoFLEX is officially the most economical car ever to be sold with a Vauxhall badge in the company's 106-year history.
Thanks to various improvements, the ecoFLEX now manages 70.6mpg on the official fuel economy cycle and has a CO2 rating of 105g/km, 14g/km below that of the outgoing car. This does not affect VED payments at the moment, but it does mean that taxing the car will be just £20 from April 1 next year compared with £30 for the previous ecoFLEX. The ecoFLEX is being sold in Life and Club trim levels at prices starting from £11,295. Vauxhall Gallery Previous: Volkswagen Revises Passat Range Next: Ferrari Achieves Auction Record |
