(Thu 28 May 09) Toyota has confirmed that the price range for the new Prius, due to be launched here in August, will be almost identical to that for the current model.
The T3 and T Spirit versions will cost £18,370 and £21,210 respectively, as they do now, while the mid-range T4 goes up by £835 to £19,990. This is despite the fact that the new Prius is more powerful, faster, roomier, more economical (72.4mpg on the official EU combined cycle) and emits less CO2 (89g/km) while also having more equipment than before. |
