(Thu 28 May 09) The new 38-model Renault Laguna hatchback and Sport Tourer ranges will be available to order from next Monday (June 1) and officially go on sale in the UK on July 10.
Renault has restuctured the line-up so that there are now four trim levels, though in fact two of them are almost identical. The range now starts with the Expression, which gets a 3D Sound by Arkamys audio system, Bluetooth and MP3 connections, 16" alloy wheels, air-conditioning, heated electric door mirrors, ESP, traction control, understeer control and lots of airbags including curtain-style ones for front and rear passengers. The Dynamique gets the sporty front-end look from the previous Laguna GT, along with dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, front foglights, an automatic handbrake and rear parking sensors. The TomTom Edition is the same as the Dynamique except that it also has the Carminat TomTom navigation system, which adds just £360 to the price. At the top of the range comes the Initiale, which is priced considerably above all the other versions. Carminat TomTom is fitted as standard, along with 17" alloy wheels, full leather upholstery, heated seats with position memory, folding door mirrors, xenon direction headlights, front parking sensors, a hands-free card and much else. Prices start at £16,795 for the two-litre petrol Expression hatchback and top out at £25,650 for the Initale Sport Tourer with two-litre turbo diesel engine and automatic transmission. The Coupé range remains unaltered. |
