(Tue 24 Nov 09) MG has released details about its first new model under Chinese ownership. The MG6 is a five-seat coupé, roughly the size of a Ford Mondeo, and it is being launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China, where sales will begin in January.
Production of the MG6 will take place only at a new factory in Lingang to begin with, but there are plans to start production in Birmingham towards the end of 2010. The car will also be sold in the UK, though specifications and pricing have not yet been announced. |
