(Thu 26 Nov 09) Renault has temporarily added no fewer than 39 new models to its line up, all of them known as I-Music. There are I-Music versions of the Clio and Megane (in all body styles), and the Modus, Grand Modus, Kangoo, Scenic and Grand Scenic, and they are all fitted as standard with Renault's multi-function TunePoint system, Bluetooth connectivity, air-conditioning, alloy wheels, front foglights and brushed aluminium-effect door mirrors.
All of this equipment is already available on the options list, but an I-Music car will cost between £600 and £930 less (depending on which model we're talking about) than one fitted with those goodies as extras. The reason all this adds up to 39 cars is that all I-Music models come with a choice of at least two engines, usually three, and five in the case of the Scenic and Grand Scenic. The cars are available to order now, and will start to appear in Renault showrooms in December. |
