Chevrolet is aiming squarely at younger motorists (though not, in fairness, the youngest of all) with a deal based on the Aveo 1.2S.

Under the terms of this offer, the Aveo is being made available with a styling package consisting of front and rear spoilers, side skirts, floor mats, chrome exhaust tailpipe and skid plates and chrome-effect door pins and interior air vents. Metallic paint is also included, as is one year's free insurance for drivers aged between 21 and 80 (subject, no doubt, to various conditions which your local Chevrolet dealer will be able to tell you about).

The restyled Aveo costs £8995, which is £500 more than that of the standard car, though as Chevrolet points out some drivers will find that they save more than that simply because of the free insurance.
