To celebrate Irish driver Kris Meeke's victory in the 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge behind the wheel of a furiously modified Peugeot 207, Peugeot has devised a road version called the Special Edition 207 S16.

It's somewhat slower than Meeke's car, being based on the 120bhp Sport 1.6 VTi three-door, but it certainly looks the part. Standard equipment includes Bianca White paintwork, front and rear spoilers, side skirts, a "pseudo" rear diffuser, 17" alloy wheels, a mesh grille, tinted rear windows (as fitted to the 207 GTi) and an interior badge signed by Meeke himself.

The vinyl graphics on the car pictured here are optional, so you don't have to have them if you don't want them, but they cost nothing if you do.

A maximum of 250 examples will be sold, priced at £14,965. For an extra £684.21 you can have black leather upholstery with either black or contrasting silver stitching.
