Porsche has created a new version of the Panamera four-door which will make its world debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April and go on sale in the UK in June.

The Panamera was launched last year with a 4.8-litre V8 petrol engine (either turbocharged or not, depending on the model). The new model gets a 300bhp 3.6-litre direct petrol injection V6, and it's available in two forms - one with a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the other with a PDK twin-clutch semi-automatic transmission, a start/stop function and four-wheel drive.

The cars cost from £61,461 and £66,929 respectively. Standard equipment in each case includes bi-xenon headlights, front and rear Park Assist, heated front seats, tyre pressure monitoring, self-dimming mirrors, cruise control and touch-screen operation of the satellite navigation and audio controls.
