| Ford Focus RS Becomes A Classic | ||
|
(Mon 04 Jan 10) Ford's wonderful Heritage Collection has reached treble figures with the addition of a 2009 Focus RS. The RS joins a remarkable fleet which also includes a 1915 Model T (recently driven by Ford World Rally Championship team member Mikko Hirvonen), several GT40s, the 1970 London-to-Mexico rally winning Escort, a GT70, a four-wheel drive Capri, many standard road cars and Jackie Stewart's 1970 March 701 Grand Prix car, which is fitted with the Cosworth DFV engine whose development was paid for by Ford.
"We are very proud that this is a working collection," says administrator John Nevill, "and look forward to making full use of its 100th vehicle, the Ford Focus RS, next year. The Focus RS joins some very special cars and proves you're never too young to be a classic." Comment on this story on Facebook or Twitter.
