Alfa Romeo has revealed the pricing for the new range of MultiAir 1.4-litre petrol turbo engined cars in the MiTo range. Two versions, the entry-level Lusso and the better-equipped Veloce, use a 135bhp version of the engine, and they are priced at £15,165 and £16,135 respectively.

The remaining model (pictured) is called the Cloverleaf, and those of you who know that Alfa reserves that name for its highest-performance cars within a range will not be surprised to learn that it's considerably more powerful. In fact it produces 170bhp, 15bhp more than the previous hottest MiTo could manage, and it has more equipment than the others, including active suspension.

The Cloverleaf costs £17,895, and like the Lusso and Veloce it will officially go on sale here in the spring, though Alfa dealers will be taking orders from this month.
