(Fri 08 Jan 10) Toyota has slightly revised the Yaris for the 2010 model year. The important version is the TR, which accounts for around 80% of UK sales, and which now gets new 15" alloy wheels, integrated front foglights, tinted headlight glasses, matt silver finish doorhandles, new cloth upholstery and instruments and, on all except the one-litre version, perforated leather for the steering wheel and gearknob.
As before, there's a choice of one- and 1.33-litre petrol engines or a 1.4-litre turbo diesel, five- or six-speed manual gearboxes and the six-speed MultiMode automatic, and three- or five-door body styles. Prices range from £11,232 for the one-litre manual three-door to £14,129 for the diesel five-door with MultiMode. The more basic T2 gets the one-litre engine and five-speed manual gearbox only, and costs £10,256 for the three-door or £10,767 for the five-door. Comment on this story on Facebook or Twitter. |
