(Mon 15 Mar 10) It had to happen. Two months after Fiat launched the special-edition Pink version of the 500 hatchback, it has now announced that there will be a convertible equivalent.
The 500C Pink will be even more exclusive than the hatch, since only 300 will be made available. It's based on the 1.2-litre petrol Pop model, and in addition to its overwhelming pinkness it also comes with 16" alloy wheels, chrome trim, leather steering wheel and gearknob, a split-folding rear seat, Fiat's Blue&Me "infotainment" system and, naturally, a pink key cover. Strictly speaking, the 500C Pink should cost £1870 more than the standard 1.2 Pop, but it's going on sale with a premium of just £1200, bringing the price to £13,500. |
