Another Infiniti M Hybrid
(Wednesday 4 July 2012)

Until now, the only hybrid car in Infiniti's M saloon range has been the M35h GT Premium, but that has changed with the introduction of a new, lower-specification model called the M35h GT.
There is no mechanical difference between the cars. Both use a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and an electric motor which make them not only them accelerate faster than the M37 petrol and M30d diesel (0-62mph in 5.5 seconds) but also give them better combined fuel economy (40.9mpg) and lower CO2 emissions (159g/km).
However, GT models have less equipment than GT Premiums - though they're hardly what you call spartan - and as a result the new M35h is significantly cheaper. £3970 cheaper, since you ask, the list price being £41,101.
Admittedly, other GTs in the M range cost less than £40,000, but as noted above they don't have the same combination of performance and economy.
