The long and seemingly infinitely drawn-out process (well, it's taken about a year) of relaunching CARkeys is now just a few days from its climax, and we hope you're going to like the result. The new site - still with the same address - will look much better, have many more features, and basically be simply wonderful. That's what we think, anyway.

Thing is, though, there's one final piece of technical work to be done, and according to the techno types we will neither be able to launch the new site nor update the old one while it's happening. Don't ask the editorial department why this is. It's all geek to us.

The practical upshot to all this is that CARkeys is going to go into something that will look a little like hibernation for a short period. Normal service will continue in the background, however, so there will be plenty of as-yet-unseen material when the new site goes live. Believe us, it will all make sense very shortly.
