Chevrolet Cruze Estate Prices Revealed
(Thursday 28 June 2012)

The estate version of the Chevrolet Cruze - properly known as the Station Wagon - will go on sale in the UK this autumn, priced from £15,375. Following on from the original saloon and the more recently introduced hatchback, the Station Wagon is the most practical Cruze yet, with a luggage capacity of 1478 litres when the rear seats are folded down, or a little less than you get in a Ford Focus Estate or Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer.
Exact specifications have still to be confirmed, but Chevrolet has said that there will be five models from launch. The £15,375 car is the 1.6 LS, which has a 122bhp petrol engine, air-conditioning, follow-me-home headlights, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, front electric windows, roof rails, several 12v sockets, ESC and traction control.
After that comes the 1.6 LT, which costs £16,475. The extra money buys you 16" alloy wheels, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearknob, front foglights, rear parking sensors, cruise control and electric rear windows. The LT specification is also available with a 139bhp 1.8-litre petrol engine and automatic transmission for £18,075 or a 128bhp 1.7-litre turbo diesel and manual transmission (with the lowest CO2 emissions in the range of 119g/km) for £18,925.
That same diesel is also the only engine supplied with the £19,785 LTZ Nav, which is fitted as standard with 17" alloy wheels, a 7" colour display screen, satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic headlights and wipers, a self-dimming interior mirror, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and electronic climate control air-conditioning.
