Fiat Panda Pricing
(Tuesday 7 January 2012)

Fiat has confirmed the UK pricing for the new Panda, which goes on sale here at the end of February. Much is being made of the fact that you can buy a Panda for under £9000, but in fact only two of the ten cars in the range are being offered for less than five-figure sums.
Those two are the £8900 1.2-litre petrol entry-level Pop and the £9550 version of the same car in mid-range Easy trim (this being the only engine which you can't match with the poshest specification, called Lounge).
Pandas with the 1.3-litre diesel engine are priced from £11,100 and those with the phenomenally cute - yes, damn it, we said cute - 875cc two-cylinder TwinAir petrol turbo start at £10,750. Note, however, that TwinAirs are generally more expensive than diesels, and the only reason they have a lower starting price is that the TwinAir isn't available in Pop trim and the diesel is.
TwinAirs also have the option of automatic DuaLogic semi-transmission, which costs an extra £750.
