Ford Confirms Small SUV

Ford will put a new compact SUV based on the Fiesta platform on sale in Europe "within the next 18 months".

One size down from the forthcoming second-generation Kuga, the EcoSport will be the first Ford developed entirely in South America to be sold across the world. Its importance is particularly strong in Europe, where Ford expects the small SUV market to double between now and 2017.
