Green Award For BMW 3-Series

The BMW 320d EfficientDynamics has been named Green Car of 2012 by What Car? magazine, which also hailed the car as winner of its Executive Car category.

BMW did rather well in the awards, securing the Small Family Car title with the 116d EfficientDynamics and, through its MINI brand, claiming the Fun Car prize with the Cooper D.

No other manufacturer gained more than a single award, the other category winners being the Skoda Citigo Greentech (City), Ford Mondeo 1.6 TDCi Eco Zetec S (Family), Toyota Prius+ T4 (MPV), Chevrolet Volt (Alternative Fuel) and Mazda CX-5 148bhp diesel (SUV).
