| Half A Million Fiat 500s | ||
|
(Wed 31 Mar 10) That was quick. It has taken just 21 months for the Fiat factory at Tychy in Poland to produce half a million examples of the 500 (not to mention the Ford Kas which are built there too). The 500,000th car is a 1.2-litre petrol model with a Funk White colour scheme.
Nearly half of all 500s have been sold in Italy. The UK is its third largest market, with 51,445 sold so far. France and Germany are in second and fourth places with around 58,000 and 48,000 sales respectively. |
