Hyundai i30 Three-Door
(Friday 14 September 2012)

Hyundai has officially revealed details of the i30 three-door ahead of its world debut at the Paris Show later this month.
Following on from the original 2012 model year five-door and later Tourer estate, this one is slightly more than the former with a reduction in passenger access, since the conversion also involves a reworking of the front and rear styling to give a more sporty effect.
The three-door will be offered with four engines and a choice of six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The arrangement Hyundai is most keen to talk about at the moment is the 126bhp 1.6-litre diesel manual which, like the similar but less powerful 109bhp car in the five-door range, has a CO2 rating of 97g/km and is therefore exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty and the London congestion charge.
