Everyone knows that VAT will be reverting to its previous level of 17.5%, after a temporary decrease to 15%, on January 1, but Mitsubishi is trying to ignore the fact. It is absorbing the increase on all its passenger models (though not the L200 or the Commercial versions of the Outlander and Shogun) so prices will remain the same until March 31.

There are further deals relating specifically to the Lancer hatchback, which is on offer with two years' road tax, four years' 0% APR finance and five years' free servicing and breakdown cover at no extra cost.
