(Tue 01 Jun 10) Citroen has released some details of the new C4, which is due to go on sale in the UK early next year.
It's a couple of inches longer than the current model, and slightly wider and taller, with a considerably larger luggage capacity of 408 litres. New features available in the range will include a blind spot monitoring system, cornering headlights, cruise control, a speed limiter with a memory setting, and something called eTouch, which advises on how to drive more economically as well as monitoring the car's technical status and giving a reminder of when the next service is due. A start/stop system, for cutting the engine when the car is stationary, is also being used, and will allow some of the launch models to have a CO2 rating of 109g/km. Later additions to the range will have CO2 emissions of 99g/km, making them exempt from UK road tax. Comment on this story on Facebook or Twitter.
