Revised Volkswagen Passat CC

(Thu 08 Aug 10)

Volkswagen has added some extra equipment to the Passat CC, and the new version is available to order from this week.

Volkswagen Passat 50 - CC.

All versions get a new back seat which can accommodate three people, rather than the previous two, plus satellite navigation and a touchscreen Bluetooth device. The GT also comes with nappa leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors and cruise control.

Prices have gone up, of course, but not by nearly as much as they would have done if you had bought an original Passat CC with these items added to the specification as optional extras. The non-GT range starts at £22,520 for the 158bhp 1.8 TSI manual and extends to £24,505 for the 138bhp 2.0 TDI turbo diesel with DSG transmission, while the bottom and top of the GT line-up are the 138bhp TDI manual at £24,645 and the 3.6-litre V6 at £32,995.
