SsangYong Korando Pickup

Korean manufacturer SsangYong will introduce its new Korando Sports pickup to the UK in October. There will be two versions, both of them with a 153bhp two-litre turbo diesel engine, part-time four-wheel drive, a 2.04 square metre load area, a towing capacity of 2.3 tonnes, air-conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, reclining rear seats and a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
All this and more applies to the entry-level SX. There's also a more highly-equipped EX model, which gets larger 18" alloy wheels, leather upholstery, seat warmers, powered adjustment of the driver's seat, rear parking sensors and heated, electric, power-folding door mirrors.
Optional extras include six-speed automatic transmission (with cruise control) and a rigid hard top. Pricing will be confirmed in the autumn.
