Vauxhall Corsa Black Edition

This snarly little fellow is the new Black Edition version of the Vauxhall Corsa. Both the bodywork and the various exterior add-ons are black, as you can see, while inside there's a leather-trimmed steering wheel, sports seats with silver stitching, sports pedals and matt chrome air vent surrounds. The wheel are 17" diamond-cut alloys.

The engine is the 118bhp 1.4-litre turbo unit which gives the Black Edition a top speed of 121mph and a 0-60mph time of 9.7 seconds. Helped by a start/stop system, its official combined fuel economy is 51.4mpg and its CO2 emissions are rated at 129g/km.

Five hundred examples are being built, priced at £15,995 for the three-door and £16,425 for the one with two doors more than that.
