2015 Skoda Superb estate pricing listed

Skoda has announced pricing for its 2015 Superb estate, which begins order later this month.

Skoda has revealed that its next-generation Superb estate will start from £19,840 when orders start later this month. First deliveries will follow this September.

Following the release of pictures and specification details for the family car last week, Skoda has now confirmed that its starting price is nearly £2,500 more than its predecessor.

The estate’s starting price is also £1,200 more than the new Superb hatchback, which will launch in Britain this September as well.

Skoda anticipates, however, that as was the case with the previous Superb, the estate will outsell its hatchback counterpart in Britain. Although it is more expensive than before, the new Superb estate is cheaper than most of its main rivals yet offers class-leading interior and boot space.

The Superb estate’s starting price applies to the S trim model with the 118bhp 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine. The next trim level for the Superb estate, SE, starts from £22,390. The mid-range SE Business trim meanwhile starts at £22,790.

SE L Executive models are priced from £25,420 and the range-topping Laurin & Klement trim begins at £31,840. Four-wheel drive models, which all use a 2.0-litre diesel or petrol engine, start from £24,790.

Standard equipment for all Superb estate models includes stop-start engine technology, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a touchscreen interface.
