2016 Fiat 500 full UK pricing confirmed

Full pricing and specification details have now been announced for the updated Fiat 500 range, which goes on sale this September.

The first official images and details for the updated 500 city car were announced earlier this month. At the time it was confirmed the popular city car would get a facelift, as well as an improved interior and more efficient engines.

It was also revealed that the updated 500 range would start from £10,980, or £13,540 for the 500C convertible. Theses price tags apply when choosing the standard Pop specification, which utilises a 68bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine records up to 62.8mpg on the combined cycle and emits CO2 between 105 and 110g/km.

Other trims include Pop Star, starting from £11,765 or from £14,415 for the 500C. Finally there’s the Lounge trim from £12,640 or £15,290 for the 500C.

Both the Pop Star and Lounge trims are available with an 85bhp 0.9-litre TwinAir turbo petrol alongside the 1.2-litre petrol.

A 105bhp version of the TwinAir is also available for the Lounge trim, which utilises a six-speed manual gearbox, records 67.3mpg combined and emits 99g/km. All other engines use a five-speed manual ‘box as standard.

The 85bhp TwinAir is the most efficient engine in the updated Fiat 500’s range, officially recording 74.3mpg combined and CO2 emissions of 90g/km. Emissions are reduced to 88g/km with the optional Dualogic automatic gearbox.

Standard equipment for the updated Fiat 500 range includes start-stop engine technology, LED daytime running lights, electric front windows and steering wheel audio controls. Features added by the Pop Star trim include air conditioning, heated door mirrors and 15-inch alloy wheels. Unique features from the Lounge trim include rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity and a panoramic fixed glass sunroof.
