BMW has unveiled the second generation X4 sports activity coupe, which will make its full public debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

The X4 combines the looks of a coupe and an SUV, with this latest iteration having larger dimensions than the previous one.

As with most other BMW models, the X4 comes with a premium feel and all of the main features are angled towards the driver for a more involved drive. The centre-piece is the iDrive 10.25-inch touchscreen, with the optional head-up display and digital instrument cluster also available.

Sports seats are fitted as standard, with a leather multi-functional steering wheel and climate control included as well.

Coming with three trim levels – xLine, M Sport X and M Sport – the X4 can be customised further with BMW’s Individual design portfolio for the first time.

Two M Performance models are included in the range – the M40i and M40d – which also come with unique features.

To help with driving dynamics, the X4 is available with variable sport steering, adaptive M suspension, M Sport differential and M Sport brakes.
