Toyota has announced prices and specification for the latest version of the Land Cruiser SUV.
On sale from today, the Land Cruiser offers plenty of practicality and off-roading capability, while coming in four different trim levels – Utility, Active, Icon and Invincible – and two body styles with the option of five or seven seats.
It maintains the 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel unit from the previous version and can be paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Along with a refreshed exterior design, the Land Cruiser comes with a new-look dashboard that incorporates an eight-inch touchscreen display for the Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system depending on the trim level.
Other interior features have been added to make the Land Cruiser more comfortable, with front seat ventilation, rear seat heating and automatic climate control available in certain Land Cruiser models.
New safety features have also been added in Toyota Safety Sense package, with pre-collision system, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert and automatic high beam included. Safety Sense comes as standard on Icon and Invincible models.
From the base Utility trim, models come with 17-inch steel wheels, roof rails, front fog lights, air conditioning, dusk-sensing headlights, cruise control and a six-speaker audio system, with Bluetooth, Aux-in and USB available to use. Prices for the three-door version start from £32,795.
Models higher up the range can come with off-roading technology, such as multi-terrain select, multi-terrain monitor, dynamic suspension, crawl control and 360-degree panoramic view, which includes an under-vehicle view.
The top spec Invincible model has a starting price of £52,295, and comes with all of the best tech and comfort features as standard, like leather upholstery and Toyota Safety Sense.
