2019 Mitsubishi Mirage available at new low price

Revised Japanese supermini now starts at £11,295 — £1,005 less than before.

Mitsubishi has reinvigorated the 2019 Mirage range, bringing a revised trim line-up and a lower entry price-point for the supermini.

Starting at £11,295, the Mirage ‘3’ replaces the outgoing Juro as the starting specification for the supermini. Standard-fit exterior items include 14-inch alloy wheels, LED rear taillights and a rear spoiler, while a leather steering wheel and a four-speaker audio system can be found inside the car. As for technology, the specification boasts automatic wipers, keyless entry and Bluetooth audios support for no extra cost.

Upgrading to the range-topping ‘4’ model builds on that with the introduction of satellite navigation and DAB radio, plus support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further still, climate control, cruise control, heated front seats, bi-xenon headlamps, rear parking sensors and 15-inch alloy wheels are bundled into the package. Pricing for the Mirage 4 begins at £13,355.

Just one engine option is available for the 2019 Mirage. It’s a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit developing 79bhp and 106Nm of torque, which is sent to the front wheels via a manual gearbox on both models (with an automatic option available on 4).  Mitsubishi claims it can return 55.4mpg on the combined cycle, with CO2 emissions coming in at 107g/km.

Order books are now open for the 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage, with the first examples already in dealerships across the UK.
