2020 Volkswagen Caddy van teased ahead of 2020 debut

Volkswagen’s most compact van is set to get more stylish

2020 Volkswagen Caddy van teased ahead of 2020 debut has revealed teaser design sketches of its new Caddy van, which is set to be unveiled in February.

The new van, which will replace the existing Caddy that has been on sale for nearly 17 year, is set to get a more stylish look than ever before though not at the expense of functionality.

Key to this is the new sloping roofline, while distinctive LED front and rear lights are likely to feature, too. These design sketches are not an exact render of what the production model will look like, with the large alloy wheels and high-mounted door mirrors not likely to make it onto the Caddy you’ll see in showrooms later in 2020.

Volkswagen promises that this next-generation model is 100 per cent new, and will continue to be offered in multiple commercial- and passenger-friendly guises.

The manufacturer is also hoping that the new Caddy once again becomes the van to beat in this compact segment, as age and outdated technology has meant that the current version has fallen behind newer rivals in certain areas.

Further details are likely to be revealed ahead of the model’s unveil in February.
