All-new Honda Jazz priced from £13,495

The all-new Honda Jazz hatchback will be priced between £13,495 and £15,715 when it officially goes on sale in the UK this September.

Honda has announced that the all-new third-generation Jazz hatchback will be priced from £13,495 when it goes on sale this September.

Building on the strong reputation of its predecessors, the Jazz retains its familiar silhouette, albeit updated with a distinctive and contemporary styling, with a new grille and strong character lines.

Thanks to a new platform it’s 95mm longer than the previous version, which Honda says translates to more interior space for occupants, plus a 354-litre boot that can expand to 897 litres with the rear seats down.

It also retains Honda’s practical Magic Seat system, which allows drivers to adjust cargo configurations quickly and easily for unparalleled practicality despite its compact size.

Three trim levels are available – S, SE and the range-topping EX model – with standard equipment including air con, cruise control and Honda’s City-Brake Active to avoid low-speed crashes.

Priced from £14,595, the mid-range SE adds front and rear parking sensors, plus 15-inch alloy wheels, heated door mirrors and a Driver Assistance Safety Pack for extra safety aids.

Finally, the EX model, which is priced from £15,715, comes with premium features like smart entry, automatic climate control and a six-speaker upgraded audio system, plus 16-inch alloys and front fog lamps.

Other kit includes a Honda Connect infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen as standard on SE and EX models, which supports in-car internet and comes with optional Garmin satnav functions.

All Jazz models will come with the City-Brake Active system as standard, while SE and EX trims come with the Driver Assistance pack, which includes a suite of technologies like lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition.

Power comes from a single 1.3-litre petrol engine, which has a maximum output of 101bhp and is available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed CVT automatic gearbox.

According to Honda, this new engine matches the performance of the 1.4-litre engine previously available with the Jazz, but with fuel economy of up to 61.4mpg and CO2 emissions of just 106g/km.
