Audi A4 Black Edition adds extra classiness

Audi has revealed another Black Edition model, this time for the A4 saloon and Avant. As well as the new trim, the entire A4 range and other Audis also receives equipment upgrades.

The A4 Black Edition, which adds more exclusive styling and kit to the compact executive car, is priced from £32,350 and available to order now. The Black Edition is available with every engine variant in the A4 range, except for the one used for the S4.

It enhances the exterior with the likes of 19-inch alloy wheels finished in matt titanium, which can be swapped for 18-inch black alloys for no extra cost.

It also sports black surrounds for the grille, air intakes, windows and door mirrors. A black finish is also applied to the side skirts and rear spoiler to complete the Black Edition’s more distinctive look. For the Avant, black roof rails also feature.

Inside, the A4 Black Edition adds £550 worth of new equipment to cars in the SE trim and above. The Audi connect Safety and Service system, with 4G emergency calling and roadside assistance, is included as standard. Sport trim models add heated leather seats, an upgraded steering wheel and a larger seven-inch driver info display.

A4 S-Line models also feature heated seats and swap the standard leather and cloth upholstery for a mix of leather and Alcantara.

Audi has also announced that for the 2018 model year, every car it offers, including everything from the A4 to the A1, will now feature cruise control and rear parking sensors as standard.
