Audi adds Vorsprung and Black Edition options to line-up

The two new versions enhance the specification on multiple models, including the A3, Q8 and TT.

Audi has announced that multiple cars in its line-up have new trim options in the form of the Vorsprung and Black Edition specifications.

Both provide customers with higher levels of specification and are derived from the S line trim – with Black Edition added to four models and Vorsprung now available on five further vehicles.

The A5 Coupe and Sportback, Q2 and Q5 receive the Black Edition spec, which adds 19- or 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels, a black styling pack and darker privacy glass to the exterior – with the interior receiving a darker aesthetic as well as a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel.

These models join the A3, S3, the A4 range, and TT and TTS Coupe and Roadster options – with the Black Edition range starting from £26,845 for the A3 version.

For the ‘ultimate’ specification, customers can choose the Vorsprung trim – which is being added to the A5 Coupe, Cabriolet and Sportback, as well as the Q5 and A7 Sportback.

Vorsprung makes significant strides over the Black Edition by adding 20-,21- or 22-inch alloy wheels depending on the model, as well as Matric LED headlights, adaptive suspension and a series of driver assistance systems.

Systems such as park assist, side assist, active lane assist, turn assist and cross traffic assist rear provide drivers with further comfort and confidence on the road.

Customers of Vorsprung models will also find kit such as a panoramic glass sunroof, a Bose or Bang & Olufsen speaker system and a motion-activated tailgate.

The higher-spec Vorsprung range starts from £48,875 for the A5 – with the Q8 Vorsprung at the pinnacle of the line-up costing from £83,040.
