Audi RS Q3 Performance boasts extra power

The Audi RS Q3 crossover has received a new Performance model with even more power than the regular, speedy crossover.

Priced from £49,175, the Audi RS Q3 Performance is on sale now and costs £3,365 more than a regular model.

More power and speed

Representing the new range-topper of the RS Q3 range, the Performance model uses the same 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI petrol engine as the standard Audi but offers an additional 27bhp and 15Nm of torque.

That means the RS Q3 Performance offers 362bhp and 465Nm of torque in total. It allows the crossover to complete the zero to 62mph sprint in just 4.4 seconds, which is four tenths less than a regular RS Q3. Also, while the standard car had an electronically restricted top speed of 155mph, the new Performance version can reach 167mph.

Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox are fitted standard for the RS Q3 Performance.

Design updates

As well as making the car faster and more powerful, Audi’s new Performance model also introduces some changes to the RS Q3’s exterior design. A distinct matt-titanium finish is now applied to the frame of the front grille, the roof rails, the air inlet duct, part of the rear diffuser and the fins on the roof-mounted spoiler.

Inside the Audi, the RS performance design package can be added at no extra charge and includes a centre armrest, RS sport leather steering wheel, gear lever selector and floor mats with blue contrast stitching. Standard kit includes 20-inch alloy wheels and sports seats.
