Audi unleashes Black Edition cars across its range

Audi is introducing a new Black Edition trim to many of the cars in its current range including for the A3, TT, S6 and S7.

A range-topping Black Edition for the Audi Q3 crossover was recently introduced and now many other Audis are getting a similar treatment.

The cheapest of the new Black Edition cars is the A3 which starts from £26,565 for the three-door hatchback. The five-door Sportback and saloon versions of the A3, as well as its performance-enhanced S3 counterparts, are also available in the new Black Edition trim. The S3 Black Edition starts from £33,880.

Representing a step up from the S Line trim, the A3 Black Editions include matte titanium 18-inch alloy wheels, black details for the grille and door mirrors and darkened privacy glass. A new 10-speaker sound system is also added for good measure. The S3 Black Edition features new 19-inch alloy wheels plus a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The Audi TT coupe and roadster Black Editions are also available, starting from £31,735 for the coupe, while the quicker TTS is also available in the same trim from £41,285. Add-ons here include 19-inch five-spoke Blade alloy wheels, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and an additional powered wind deflector for the TT and TTS Roadster.

Audi’s S6 saloon and S6 Avant also gain a Black Edition trim, with the former starting at £59,440. Added kit includes 20-inch five twin spoke alloy wheels, piano black inlays, a BOSE sound system and a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel.

Finally, there’s the S7 Sportback Black Edition, which starts from £66,780 and includes the same interior updates as the S6, but the wheels are upgraded to a 21-inch five-arm Rotor design.

The previously introduced Audi Q3 Black Edition is still available from £34,550.
