Best new car offers July 2021

Looking for a great deal on a new car? Here’s what you should consider

Everyone loves a deal and it’s no different in the car world.

But with car shortages due to the ongoing supply issues with semiconductors – which go into producing the likes of touchscreens and reversing cameras – manufacturers aren’t quite so keen to offer as big discounts as usual.

That said, there are still deals available if you know where to look. Here are the best new car offers in July.

BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe

BMW is no stranger to offering some of the biggest discounts of any manufacturer, and that’s certainly the case with the brand’s high-end BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, which is currently available with a deposit contribution of almost £13,000 and low 2.9 per cent APR rate. And though it’s by no means cheap to finance, £709 per month really isn’t bad at all for a car offering this level of luxury.

With its sleek styling, the 8 Series Gran Coupe is a great alternative to a typical executive car, while still offering a practical interior. This deal here gets you the 840i, which uses a powerful 3.0-litre petrol engine offering particularly swift performance.

Ford S-Max

Though MPVs are not as popular as they once were, when it comes to practicality, you’ll struggle to beat them with any similarly-priced SUV. That’s certainly the case with the Ford S-Max, which offers generous seating for seven and a big boot when you don’t need that third row of chairs upright. It’s also one of the best people carriers to drive, while you get a lot of equipment for your money as well.

It’s also more attractive at the moment thanks to a £2,250 deposit contribution and zero per cent APR – meaning it’s actually cheaper to finance than it would be to buy outright. With an £8,444 deposit, you can also get behind the wheel for just £310 per month.

Audi A6

If you want a slice of luxury but don’t have a ridiculous amount of free cash each month to put towards your finance arrangement, it’s well worth taking a look at Audi’s large A6 saloon. Currently available with a generous £5,000 contribution from the German firm, it means you can get behind the wheel for just £419 per month with a relatively small deposit of £4,972.24.

With the A6’s high-quality and tech-laden interior, it’s a very special car to drive, while also delivering a very comfortable and smooth ride. This deal applies to the 40 TFSI model that utilises an appealing petrol engine, and also comes in the sportier-looking S line trim level.

Peugeot 3008 Hybrid

Plug-in hybrids are becoming increasingly popular, and Peugeot already offers a great range of electrified options. Its mid-sized 3008 SUV is a particularly appealing choice, thanks to its striking design, high-quality interior and efficient powertrain that allows for an electric-only range of around 40 miles.

Typically plug-in hybrids are far more expensive to buy than a regular petrol or diesel counterpart, but that’s not the case here, with the 3008 Hybrid available from £349 per month  – no more than a regular petrol option with a similar power output. A generous £1,000 saving on top of a £3,675 deposit contribution makes it an especially enticing new car offer.

Seat Leon eHybrid

Sticking with the plug-in hybrid, we have the electrified version of Seat’s popular Leon hatchback. This version brings a punchy powertrain and low running costs to this Ford Focus rival, while still retaining the standard car’s sharp design and good driving experience.

Currently Seat is also offering zero per cent APR across nearly all its range, while an additional £3,000 deposit contribution means this plug-in hatch is far more affordable than you might expect, with monthly payments of £359 available.
