Check out the first full trailer for The Grand Tour

The first full trailer for The Grand Tour, the new Amazon Prime motoring show featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

After a series of small teaser videos in recent months, The Grand Tour has finally released its first proper trailer online, ahead of the motoring show’s debut on November 18th.

The Grand Tour is the new show being headed up by the ex-Top Gear trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Fans of their exploits on BBC’s Top Gear will likely view the new show’s trailer as being pleasingly familiar.

As you can see above, the trailer confirms The Grand Tour will feature a large variety of cars both new and old, exotic locations, quirky challenges. There's also plenty of banter as usual between the Clarkson, Hammond and May trio.

The trailer makes reference to there being as many as four continents visited through the duration of the new series.

Cars shown in action during the trailer are for the most part ones we were already aware of thanks to the various teaser images or videos that have been posted earlier this year. Included is the McLaren P1, LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and Aston Martin Vulcan.

A sign of just how sizeable the budget for The Grand Tour is, the trailer also shows there’ll be high-speed boats, jet skis and even a tank in action during the new series. We also get our first bit of footage of Clarkson, Hammond and May in the show’s large studio tent. This has already been used for filming in Johannesburg and Los Angeles and will appear in Whitby later this month.

The first series of The Grand Tour will comprise a total of 12 episodes, and each episode will be released on the Amazon Prime online video service on a weekly basis starting from the initial air date.
