Citroen has updated its C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso MPVs with styling tweaks, extra gadgets and more personalisation options.
Launching this September, the updated Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso will be available to order in the UK from this June. Pricing will be confirmed at a later date.
New look and gadgets
Exterior design changes for both the five-seater Picasso and seven-seater Grand Picasso includes new 17-inch alloy wheels and new 3D-effect rear lights as standard.
There’s also a two-tone roof available on the five-seat C4 Picasso and there is a new Silver coloured roof bar option for Grand C4 Picasso, as well as three new body colours.
Inside, both cars have Citroen’s new Connect Nav system which comes with 3D, touch-operated and real-time connected navigation. Citroen has upgraded the system to make route guidance easier through improved mapping.
Voice recognition is now also available and can be used to interact with the navigation, telephone and media functions. The system allows the driver to access text messages and emails, and to send quick messages from the car.
Other new tech features for Citroen’s MPV includes a hands-free tailgate, which allows the driver to open the boot with a simple movement of their foot at the rear of the vehicle. The range also adds adaptive cruise control and active lane departure warning.
Two extra engines
Two new engines also join the line-up. The C4 Picasso is now available with a 109bhp 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine linked with a six-speed manual gearbox.
This car and the Grand C4 Picasso both also add a 128bhp 1.2-litre PureTech engine as well, which is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. This powertrain officially records 55.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 115g/km.
