Citroen unveils special edition C3 Aircross C-Series

The new crossover will be available from February 2020

Citroen has revealed a new ‘C-Series’ special edition of its popular C3 Aircross – essentially replacing the ‘Origins’ models on sale throughout 2019.

The new trim will be available from February 2020, and it will slot in the trim line-up between ‘Feel’ and ‘Flair’ and takes over from the ‘Origins’ special edition that was on sale throughout 2019 to mark Citroen’s centenary year.

The C-Series models come with a unique red colour pack, which included painted headlight surrounds and door mirrors. It also features a black roof and 16-inch gloss black ‘Matrix’ alloy wheels. C-Series badging also appears throughout the exterior and interior.

A soft-touch interior features in the cabin, along with satin chrome air vents. Red and white stitching is patterned on the seats.

The C-Series grade is based on the Feel, but adds climate control, automatic wipers, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and parking sensors. It also features improved connectivity thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

It’s purely available with the efficient 108bhp 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine, whereas other variants benefit from a more powerful 128bhp version, as well as a 99bhp 1.5-litre diesel unit.

The Citroen C3 Aircross C-Series is available to order now, with prices starting from £19,550 – £1,035 more than the entry-level Feel version. First deliveries are expected in February 2020.
