To improve the options for customers to choose from, Dacia has added a new diesel engine to the Sandero and Logan MCV line-ups – while also tweaking the specification of each model.
The Blue dCi 95 diesel is available on the Comfort and new Essential trim levels for both cars, which develops 94bhp and 220Nm of torque.
The dCi 95 can return a quoted 62.7mpg and emissions of just 98g/km CO2, making the Sandero capable of 0-60mph in 11.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 111mph. The Logan MCV versions are slightly slower to 60mph, but boast the same top speed.
Both the Sandero and Logan MCV range now come with three trim options too – Access, Essential and Comfort – with prices for the Sandero starting from £6,995, meaning it remains the cheapest new car on sale in the UK. The Logan MCV line-up starts from £8,495.
Sandero Essential models cost from £7,795 and the trim offers air conditioning, electric front windows, DAB radio, Bluetooth, body-coloured bumpers and 15-inch wheels.
The top-end Comfort trim comes with 15-inch wheels, heated and electrically-adjustable door mirrors, a touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation and smartphone connectivity, rear parking sensors, cruise control and electric rear windows. Prices start from £8,795.
For the Logan MCV options, the base Access models come with 15-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights and hill start assist – while Essential options feature a DAB radio, Bluetooth, air conditioning and electric front windows.
The top-spec Comfort trim adds a touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation and smartphone compatibility, rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, cruise control and electrically adjustable door mirrors. The Logan MCV Stepway is only available with the Comfort trim.
The Logan MCV starts from £8,495 – allowing it to retain the title as the UK’s cheapest new estate.
Both new ranges are available to order now, with deliveries for the Sandero starting from February. Logan MCV units will be delivered from March.
