The popular crossover also has expanded personalisation choice when it comes to personalisation

Citroen has revealed its updated C3 Aircross, which comes with a more striking front end and additional features that aim to improve comfort.

The C3 Aircross arrived in 2017 as the brand’s smallest SUV, with more than 330,000 being produced since then. And most prominent on this update is its front-end styling, which takes inspiration from the Citroen C-Xperience concept car. There’s a new grille strip that runs between the main headlights, while also featuring a new grille and now-standard LED headlights.

Personalisation has also been expanded, with up to 70 combinations now available thanks to the introduction of three new shades – Khaki Grey, Voltaic Blue and Polar White – while additional ‘Colour Packs’ add flair around the door mirrors and lights.

Inside, Citroen has introduced its well-praised ‘Advanced Comfort’ seats, which already feature on the regular C3 supermini and larger C5 Aircross SUV, and come with thicker foam and a design that aims to improve posture and enhance overall comfort. Versatility is also enhanced with a new centre console storage box that can be reached by both front and rear passengers.

It’s also equipped with a larger nine-inch touchscreen, which is said to feature a higher-quality screen, along with a connected satellite navigation system and smartphone mirroring. Park assist and a head-up display have also been introduced to enhance safety.

As before, the C3 Aircross will be available with a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine (available in outputs of 108bhp or 128bhp), along with a 1.5-litre diesel with 108bhp or 118bhp.

Full prices and specs are yet to be announced, though it’s likely to stay similarly-priced to the outgoing model’s £19,685 starting price.
