Skoda has released images of its refreshed Fabia, which will make its first public appearance at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show this March.

Inside, there’s a remodelled instrument cluster, new dashboard trim options and two-tone upholstery options for the seats. Skoda will also be offering a new 18-inch alloy wheel design.

The Czech brand will be offering four different three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol powertrains with the Fabia ranging from 94bhp to 109bhp in output, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission available with the most powerful offering.

New assistance systems will also be added to the Fabia, with blind spot detection, rear traffic alert and light assist offered on the refreshed version of the hatchback.

Skoda will also be applying a new infotainment system to the Fabia, with the ‘Swing’ setup coming with a 6.5-inch touchscreen display and allows drivers to use Skoda Connect – which allows smartphone applications to be used on the go. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mirrorlink and Smartgate smartphone connectivity will also be on offer.

Along with all these added features, Skoda will be fitting more of its ‘Simply Clever’ solutions to the Fabia, including an ice scraper in the fuel filler cap and an LED flashlight.

More details for the Fabia will be revealed in Geneva next month, with the model coming on sale later this year.
