Fiat ‘Hey Google’ range: Here’s what you need to know

The exclusive partnership brings a range of new special edition models

Fiat is a brand well known for its special editions, with this manufacturer consistently launching additional models to bring extra style and personalisation to its range.

A lot of these editions come from partnerships with other firms, and the latest is one of the most interesting yet as Fiat has teamed up with Google. The special edition, which is known as ‘Hey Google’ brings additional connected features to the brand’s models, using the firm’s acclaimed voice recognition service.

Drivers can also interact with their cars remotely by saying ‘Hey Google, ask my Fiat…’. This can give information such as the fuel level, location and local amenities.

But what models can you get the Hey Google edition on? Let’s take a look.

500 Hey Google

Though Fiat might be introducing a new battery-powered 500 this year, it hasn’t forgotten about the regular model, which is now powered by a 1.0-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine.

It’s this model that kicks off the Hey Google range, bringing with it a white and gloss black exterior finish, new 15-inch alloy wheels and a new matte silver dashboard.

It also comes with plenty of standard equipment, including a seven-inch touchscreen, cruise control and Mopar Connect as standard, with prices starting from £16,005 for the hatchback and £18,655 for the 500C Convertible.

500X Hey Google

If you want to keep the 500’s charm but just need a bit more space, the 500X is undoubtedly a great option to go for. Like the standard 500, you can have it in optional two-tone white and gloss black colour, while it also stands out thanks to its 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights and tinted rear windows.

Plenty of standard equipment is also provided, including rear parking sensors, a six-speaker sound system and automatic lights and wipers. You can choose it with either a 118bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine or a 148bhp 1.3-litre unit, with models being available from £21,765.

500L Hey Google

Last but not least is Fiat’s funky 500L MPV, which serves as the most practical model in the 500 range. In this special edition, it gains more rugged crossover styling, along with 16-inch alloy wheels and the aforementioned white and gloss black livery.

Inside, this special edition brings new seats and a matte silver dashboard with a white ‘500’ emblem, while other standard equipment includes air conditioning, a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and rear parking sensors.

The sole engine option is a 94bhp 1.4-litre petrol unit, with the model available from £20,345.
