Ford Commercial vehicle finance and lease offers in 2020. What’s available?

Here’s a look at some of Ford’s best offers.

Whether you’re looking for small car-based van or a large commercial vehicle with impressive spaciousness, Ford has you covered.

It’s little wonder that the brand is the most popular van firm across the UK, with the Transit Custom being twice as popular as the next best van in 2019. Ford also runs some fantastic finance offers, too, which only makes the models more appealing.

Here’s a look at some of the best deals in 2020…

Scrappage Scheme

If your current van is proving to be a bit unreliable, or you’re just looking for something new to replace your current vehicle, Ford’s Scrappage Scheme could be the perfect answer.

Providing your current vehicle was registered before the end of 2013, you could be eligible for up to £7,250 off a new Ford van. While the scheme doesn’t include every Ford commercial vehicle, the line-up is extensive, varying from the compact Fiesta Sport Van through to the new Ranger Wildtrak pick-up and huge new Transit Limited 350.

Here are the models available, and the scrappage discount you’ll get when trading in your qualifying vehicle…

Fiesta Sport Van - £3,000

Transit Courier Limited - £3,500

Transit Custom Limited - £5,350

Tourneo Custom - £6,000

New Transit Limited 350 (MCA) - £7,250

New Ranger Wildtrak (3.2-litre engine only) - £5,000

Zero per cent APR (some with contribution too)

While many manufacturers tend to sting you when financing a vehicle with a high APR rate, Ford is different, offering zero per cent APR rate across its range – therefore meaning that it doesn’t work out any more expensive than if it was bought all in one go.

Additional dealer contributions and customer savings

To make things even better, Ford also offers additional dealer contributions and customer savings on top of the zero per cent APR – something that’s rare in this industry, so you should make the most of it.

Most of these deals are part of ‘Ford Acquire’, which is essentially where the car is financed over three or four years, and come the end of the contract you’ll own the van. With the exception of the Ranger pick-up, every Ford van is available with significant savings, both from customer savings and dealer contributions, which can be up to £6,000 – remember, that’s a straight deduction from the list price. Just be aware that not every trim level is available with the offer.

As for the Ranger, that’s instead available with big savings as part of ‘Ford Options’ – a different finance solution whereby you pay less each month for the van, and come the end of the contract you can choose whether or not to pay an optional final payment to own the Ranger, or hand it back for another new model instead.
