Ford has refreshed two models in the current Transit range — Connect and Courier.

The facelifted vehicles are part of the American manufacturer’s plan to refresh its entire European commercial offerings over the next 18 months.

Both new vans feature fresh styling, more fuel-efficient engines and more driver assistance technology over the outgoing models.

The Transit Connect brings the front-end design in line with the rest of the current Ford range with the addition of a new grille, slimmer Xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights on higher-end trims.

Inside, there is new materials to “provide a stylish and hard-wearing working environment”, while a new central control area featuring a six-inch touchscreen with Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment is also included.

The Transit Courier brings aesthetic tweaks in the form of a reshaped front grille and a revised lower fascia, while also receiving a new six-inch touchscreen on upper-level specifications.
