Ford has announced its scrappage scheme will be extended in to 30 June 2018, Ford's scrappage scheme allows customers to potentially save between £2,000 and £4,850 when you trade in your old car for a brand-new model. The Ford Scrappage Scheme is available to people looking to trade in vehicles registered before the 1st of January 2010, and the vehicle must have been owned for at least 90 days. The scheme covers a range of new Ford models, with new vehicles having to be registered between the 1st of September and 31st of December 2017.
What is the Ford Scrappage Scheme?
The Ford Scrappage Scheme offers additional savings of between £2,000 and £4,950 on a selection of Euro-6-rated new Ford petrol and diesel models, when you trade in your old car. The scrappage scheme is applicable to those looking to trade in pre-2010 cars, which meet the current Euro 4 standards and guidelines. The scrappage scheme runs until 30 June 2018 and will allow you to drive away a new Euro-6-rated car and save a lot of money in the process.
The big advantage with Ford is that unlike many other manufacturers offering a scrappage scheme, you can choose from both petrol and diesel models.

What cars can you trade in?
In order to be eligible for the Ford Scrappage Scheme the vehicle you are trading in must be:
- Registered before 1st January 2010.
- Owned by you for at least 90 days.
- Euro 4 rated or lower.
- Scrapped as a result of trade in.
When does the Ford Scrappage Scheme end?

VAT) Scrappage saving off the Recommended On The Road Price of a New Ford Car. Offer available on All-New Fiesta (Excl. Style); B-MAX (Titanium / Titanium X Navigator only); Focus (Excl. ST & RS); C-MAX; Grand C-MAX and Kuga models only. New Ford cars must be contracted between 21st August and 31st December 2017 (the “Contract Date”) and registered between 1st September and 31st December 2017.
